"Come as you are...Bring a friend!" is our motto at Welcome, HOME B&B. Young and old and anyone in between is welcomed at our spacious country home.
We are set on 18 rural acres of prairie and
woodland. Our house sits on a hillside where, as the breeze blows, the
trees sing...Our entire house and the grounds are wheelchair friendly.
Enjoy breathtaking sunsets, cool breezes, rural silence and fresh air,
sweet scents, fawns romping, crisp fall colors, bandit raccoons, an evening
firefly light-show, winter whites, a prairie palette of flowers and grasses,
dragon flies, caterpillars and butterflies, the Northern lights, brilliant
green tree frogs with orange suckered feet, bumpy backed toads, slimy salamanders,
frisky chipmunks, sassy blue jays, brilliant red Cardinals, speedy hummingbirds,
soaring hawks, and, if you're really lucky, a sly red fox!
There were lots of new friends and old enjoying a weekend of warm soup or stew while shopping in our art, craft and gift sale. Many wonderful bargains were found. We had everything to keep you warm inside and out, to bring a smile to someone special as they open that HOMEmade gift, or when a HOMEmade bread was served with just the right HOMEmade jam. Thanks also to all of our wonderful volunteers who helped make this day possible.
