Exodus House is a 20 bed state licensed community based residential facility for recovering male alcoholics and drug addicts. It opened in 1977 as a response to Washington County's need for a structured, professionally directed program to assist those persons in the transition between sobriety and re-entry into society.

Exodus House is a large, roomy, comfortable old Victorian home that is ideal for group living.
It is located in a lovely neighborhood in Kewaskum, Wisconsin, a small community about 40 miles north of Milwaukee.
We are one block from the business district and within walking distance of almost all church
denominations, various clubs and library. Most sources of employment are also in traveling
distance.
Exodus House promotes a full range of services for the recovering chemically dependent client requiring a residential setting. Emphasis is placed on the homelike features of the facility with residents given much the same kind of responsibility for themselves and their environment as they would in their own home. Exodus House is a minimally supervised, non-medical, community based residential program. Services include individual counseling, group counseling, limited recreational activities, room, board, and limited transportation. Our facility also assists in educational or employment placement based on individual assessment.
Admission will be given to any sincere individual who needs the facility and is willing to abide by the rules of the house. Specific criteria for admission include:
The Exodus House staff consists of a Director, two Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors,
Resident House Manager, a full time Cook, and the Office Manager. Relief staff persons do
work some weekends.
